Group releases list of dangerous toys as holiday shopping begins ...

DENVER ? Just in time for the holiday shopping season, the Colorado Public Interest Research Group, or CoPIRG, released its annual ?Trouble in Toyland? report and list of possibly dangerous toys.

The group says toy safety is improving, but there are still possibly dangerous toys on store shelves.

The group claims the Morphobot, which was found out of state, has lead levels that are too high.

They found a Dora the Explorer toy guitar and a CAT toy driving wheel that they say exceeded the recommended noise levels.

The group is also highlighting the dangers of magnets, saying hundreds of people swallow magnets every year and many need surgery.

Plus, the group issued warnings about choking hazards and the need for effective labeling.
